From life coaches to bakers to fitness gurus — we’re so excited to share their stories and introduce you to each amazing business owner. So without further ado, be sure to tune into one or ALL of these episodes this week!

001. The Courage to Build It with Kelly Porter

“When it comes to business ownership, do not compare yourself. It’s so important to do your market research and make sure you have a firm grasp on your industry. But have strict boundaries there. Comparing yourself will continuously hold you back and if it becomes a practice, it will be your greatest obstacle.”

005. Why Starting Small Produces Big Success with Alena Vaughn

“Make sure your idea works FIRST before you invest fully. Start small and work towards your goal,” says Alena. As you build your business, try it out in small ways. Set up a booth at a farmers market. Stick to one great product vs. a full line. Take your time and remain steady and consistent, then watch where these little steps lead!

003. Connecting to Your Calling with Laura Lee

“Trust that you are here for a purpose! Ask yourself, “what am I called to,” then go from there. Start examining what lights you up, what do you gravitate toward? Ask yourself if you’re currently operating fully in your giftings, and if not, then what’s one step you can take toward those gifts today?”

014. Leaving Your Legacy with Martha Brannon

“Be happy with where you’re at and find satisfaction in the process. Stay in a place where you can serve wholeheartedly and do everything out of that heart. Make sure to take some time to slow down, look where you’re at and be proud of where you’re at! Reflect and be grateful, and most importantly, ENJOY IT. Enjoy what you’re doing and if you're not, then find out why you’re not enjoying it. Life is short and we have to take every minute and be grateful.”

004. Letting Passion Lead with Dana Maize

“Trust the process and do everything you can in the meantime to grow. Sign up for webinars, take classes, binge Youtube videos, listen to podcasts! Do whatever you can to educate yourself in your industry and just trust the timing. When doors open, march through them knowing you’ve prepared for this moment and it’s YOUR TIME!”

019. It's Time To Tell Your Story with Amber Zaricor

Amber’s advice for business owners: Boundary up! Amber has learned through much trial and error that her time is precious and her work hours need to be maximized. “My biggest thing is my working hours,” says Amber. “I don’t take any calls or meetings before 11am. I know my prime time and I use it to my advantage.” She asks clients to communicate through email and saves texting or calls for personal relationships. She also schedules out her emails early so she’s not sending any late in the evening, ensuring clients don’t assume they can contact past business hours. Putting up boundaries early in the process will save you big headaches, miscommunications, and resentment in the future!
