How To Give Your Business Some TLC During Social Distancing

With the reality of social distancing, we're all (hopefully) spending a little more time in our home office. As entrepreneurs, sometimes we can fall into slumps or routines that may actually leave us more stunted than productive. When you start feeling stir crazy, it's time for a little business self-care!

Here are a few ways to give you and your company a little TLC during social distancing:

1. Clean.

A clean space is a happy space! Organize your office, take time to clean up your finances. Work through your filing systems. Now's the perfect time to tackle the little things that make a BIG difference in your productivity!

2. Plan.

Block out a day for vision-casting! Consider innovative ways to revamp your services. Then take it even further with a 6-month projection! How can you update your brand, services, products this season?

3. Grow.

When in doubt, find ways to grow! This is a great time to learn a new skill! Read an entire book, that's right, the WHOLE thing! Sign up for a virtual conference or watch a TEDx talk. There are so many ways to invest in yourself this month!

4. Connect.

Don't forget that socialization is actually a vital component of productivity. We need each other! Offer phone consultations for a discounted rate. Reconnect with past customers, I'd even suggest extending a helping hand and letting them know you're thinking of them during this time. Offer to mentor someone! Reach out to someone whom you admire to ask how they shifted their business previously. Find ways to stay connected!

5. Do.

Stay active mentally and physically! Go for a walk outside. Try a 24hr digital detox. Finally, start that passion project! Create something with your hands! Find ways to inspire your heart and ease your mind through creativity.
